The Department of Industry and Economy in the Government of Fujairah has concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, in the context of supporting the efforts of the two parties to lay the foundations of joint cooperation effectively, in a way that contributes to achieving institutional integration to advance national and community work that is consistent with the plans of the two parties through joint events and initiatives.

The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Eng. Mohammed bin Majid Al Aleeli, Director General of the Department of Industry and Economy in the Government of Fujairah, and His Excellency Dirar Belhoul Al Falasi, Director of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

Where the two parties agreed to contribute to the realization of the state's strategy and vision and to establish joint cooperation to ensure the realization of the values ​​of belonging, good citizenship and societal integration.

In addition, the two parties agreed to open the door to volunteerism and spread its culture, in order to ensure the achievement of institutional integration in order to advance national and community work in line with the federal and local strategic plan, and to cooperate in exchanging practical experiences and experiences, holding seminars and workshops for all target groups, in addition to holding meetings. Joint efforts to advance the national thought that would serve all segments of society in general, and would be reflected in the process of economic and social development and maximizing the benefit of society.

The two sides also seek to develop a comprehensive plan to train, develop and qualify volunteers to enable them to engage in voluntary work in all its fields in accordance with best practices in the field of voluntary work, and to exchange visits, experiences and information to serve the common goals between the two parties on a regular basis.

His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Obaid bin Majid, Director General of the Department of Industry and Economy, said that we are pleased to cooperate with the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, which greatly contributes to strengthening and consolidating the Emirati national identity in society, and spreading a culture of loyalty, belonging and values ​​of good citizenship among all spectrums of society.

Bin Majid added that this cooperation comes in order to consolidate the bonds of constructive cooperation, which will ultimately lead to strengthening the march and vision of the rational government, and we also look forward, by signing this memorandum, to implementing joint actions and supporting the state's directions in promoting the values ​​of good citizenship and national identity among the new generation of Sons of the homeland.

His Excellency Dirar Belhoul Al Falasi, Executive Director of Watani Al Emarat Foundation, stressed the importance of signing the memorandum as a starting point for positive cooperation between the two sides, for the good of the nation and society.

Al Falasi pointed out that strengthening the national identity and spreading the culture of volunteer work are among the vital goals pursued by the Watani Al Emarat Foundation and the Department of Industry and Economy, praising the role played by the Department of Industry and Economy in serving and strengthening the national economy, in a way that meets the aspirations of the state in the accelerated civilized development.
